Nick of Swords is an electronica artist and producer from North Adams, Massachusetts. With hypnotizing vocal loops and experimental synthesis to the heart pumping rhythms, Nick of Swords uncovers the mind and emotions by creating a dreamy atmosphere in which blends the likes of ambient, dance and alternative pop rock music into a surreal sound that embraces both light and darkness. Exploratory yet nostalgic.

"It started in 2021 with my first single 'I Love You' consisting of a microphone, looper pedal and my guitar. After years performing as a Singer-Songwriter, writing about my life experiences, coping with anxiety and depression I was looking for a new sound to deliver my message. Inspired by the Swords suit in Tarot, overcoming mental obstacles and persevering I continued to infuse my writing with feelings of inadequacy and self doubt to feeling on top of the world, being a voice echoing words of encouragement to others. Fusing tones of electronica and ambient music of the early 2000s, the melodies of pop punk, to the heavier sounds of metal and post rock with the four on the floor nature of dance music. Harmonious yet glitching vocal loops became my foundation, supported by sound design, guitar and drum machines bringing together Nick of Swords.”

As of 2024 Nick is actively performing live shows with an ever growing self-produced music catalogue consisting of over 80 songs spread across EPs, albums and singles.
