Nick of Swords is a composer, producer, singer-songwriter and performance artist from North Adams, MA specializing in ambient electronic music. From the synth heavy etherial soundscapes to the poetic lyricism, Nick explores topics of mental health and the human condition; often with a unique vocal looping style that is dreamy and experimental yet nostalgic.

As of 2024 Nick is actively performing live shows with an ever growing self-produced music catalogue consisting of over 80 songs spread across EPs, albums and singles.

In 2025 Nick of Swords was accepted into Mass MoCA’s Assets For Artists Capacity Building Grant program for Northern Berkshire artists.

"It started in 2021 with my first single 'I Love You' consisting of a microphone, looper pedal, drum machine, and guitar. After years performing as a Singer-Songwriter, writing about my life experiences, coping with anxiety and depression I was looking for a new sound to deliver my message. Inspired by the Swords suit in Tarot, overcoming mental obstacles and persevering I continued to write about my journey, from my darkest moments to feeling on top of the world, being a voice echoing words of encouragement to others.
